Meet Kyle
Kyle was born and raised in Overland Park Kansas. His introduction to tournament bass fishing started amazingly early, fishing his first tournament at the age of 3 years old. With the encouragement and guidance of his dad, Kyle began fishing more tournaments where he quickly found success at the local level. His early beginnings to the sport ignited his passion for finding and catching bass.
Once it was time to move off to college he expanded his fishing horizons to the B.A.S.S., FLW and Boat US college series. In his four years of fishing for the Kansas State Fishing Team he had numerous high finishes and notably maintained his status as one of the top 5 college anglers in the nation. Kyle’s big break came in July of 2016 where he and his partner Taylor emerged victorious in the B.A.S.S. Collegiate Series National Championship after three tough days of fishing on Green River Lake. This victory also solidified his position in the rankings as the #1 collegiate angler in the nation. His early successes at the national level have contributed greatly to his status as an up-and-coming angler in the fishing industry.
Kyle will be graduating from Kansas State University in December of 2016 with his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. After graduating from school he plans to continue to fishing local and regional tournaments looking to qualify for the professional tours.
